Leggy Seedlings From Weak Light

[justicebzwieg]

Leggy seedlings with a long thin stem and the first leaves far above the soil mean the light was too weak or too far away in the first days. With autos you cannot repot deeper to bury the stem the way you can with tomatoes, though mounding a little soil around it and lowering the light helps. The recommended hanging heights by fixture wattage for the seedling stage on https://turboautoflowerseeds.com put most boards much closer than people think. A stretched seedling will recover but the final plant is smaller.
